Overview

Midas ("we," "us," or "our") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how information is collected, used, and disclosed regarding individuals using the Midas website, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").

Privacy is core to our mission. We are committed to transparency in how we handle your data. You are not required to provide your name, email, tax ID, or phone number to use the basic functionality of our Platform. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.

The Information We Collect

Information Collected Directly From You

We may collect the following when you voluntarily provide it:

  • Wallet addresses you connect to our Platform (e.g., Solana-compatible wallets)
  • Email address, contact information, and data from surveys, support queries, promotions, or newsletters
  • Usernames, avatars, and profile information you choose to create
  • Know Your Customer (KYC) information through third-party partners for opt-in functionality, including legal name, date of birth, government-issued ID, and contact information — Midas does not store this data internally

Information Collected Automatically

When you access our Platform, we automatically collect:

  • Usage data: browser type, operating system, hardware model, unique device identifiers, access times, pages viewed, and links clicked
  • IP address, processed temporarily for security and DDoS prevention, approximate location derivation, and legal compliance (sanctions adherence)
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies

Blockchain Data

Due to the nature of blockchain technology, certain data is publicly available on-chain. This includes wallet addresses, transaction details, and token balances. This public blockchain data is not controlled by Midas and is used only for providing Platform functionality, service improvement, and legal compliance.

Information From Other Sources

We may access information through third-party platforms you use to connect to our services (e.g., wallet providers), in accordance with those platforms' authorization procedures.

We will not sell or share your personal information with any third party for their direct marketing purposes. We may share aggregate or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your experience, analyze usage, and track site performance. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser; persistent cookies remain to track aggregate usage patterns.

You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Most browsers provide instructions for blocking or disabling cookies. Disabling cookies may prevent certain Platform features from functioning properly.

Third-Party Analytics

We use third-party analytics services to evaluate Platform usage, performance, and user experience. These services may use their own cookies and tracking technologies.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, regular security audits, access controls, and secure connection protocols.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-Party Links and Services

Our Platform may contain links to or integrate with third-party services, including wallet providers, decentralized exchanges, liquidity protocols, and analytics services. These third-party services are governed by their own privacy policies, not this Policy. We are not responsible for their information practices and encourage you to review their policies.

Your Rights and Choices

Data Subject Rights

You may request access to, copies of, modification of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the address below. We will use reasonable efforts to accommodate requests as required by law, though retention may be necessary for legal obligations, accounting requirements, or legitimate business purposes.

Marketing Communication Choices

You may opt out of marketing emails by following the opt-out instructions in our emails or by contacting us directly. Processing opt-out requests may take up to 10 business days. We may still send non-marketing emails and service notifications.

International Data Transfers

Our Platform is operated from the United States. If you access our services from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to the United States, which may provide different protections for your personal information than your jurisdiction of residence.

Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for international data transfers, including standard contractual clauses or other mechanisms required by applicable data protection law.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

Additional Information for U.S. Residents

Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws, including the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, the right to request deletion, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

We do not "sell" or "share" personal information or disclose it for "targeted advertising" as those terms are defined under applicable state privacy laws.

If a request is denied, you may appeal by contacting us. Concerns about appeal results may be directed to your state attorney general.

Additional Information for Individuals in Europe

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, our legal bases for processing your personal information include: performance of our contract with you, legitimate business interests, compliance with legal obligations, and your consent (which you may withdraw at any time).

You may object to certain processing or request restrictions by contacting us. For unresolved concerns, you may lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will receive additional notice. We will post the updated policy with a new "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this policy regularly.
